Jessie Middleton Celebrates her 100th Birthday

Nan Martin and Kathy Murphy were pleased to join with the family and friends of BCHNS member Jessie Middleton who celebrated her 100th birthday on November 12/2016.

Jessie arrived in her Royal Columbia cape and was delighted to see all who gathered to wish her well, including the Mayor of Abbotsford.

She received greetings from many elected and appointed leaders and was surrounded by beautiful displays of her past.

unnamedWe are saddened to hear of the passing of Ingeborg Von Maydell,who has been a long time member of BCHNS.

Inge, as we knew her, held the BCHNS Secretary position for many years to 2007, faithfully writing by hand & then mailing out to the membership. When the computer age & email arrived, Inge did not have a computer, so graciously handed over the Secretary position to someone with those skills.
